I wonder how those who joined the National Guard and actually met their obligations feel about a president that joined to avoid combat, snuck out of his obligations, and concealed and lied about his actions when caught? And a Vice-President that had "other priorities"? Both architects of the death and distruction called the Iraq war. Where profit for their friends and fellow conservatives are the motivating force driving this immoral action.

Well, as one who has been in the Guard for eight years, and been deployed twice (I think that counts as having met my obligation), I note that President Bush has more military expereince than 90% of Congress - including Barack, Hillary and her draft-dodging husband.

There are many things I'd like to have been done differently about this war. I don't think a few extra years of military expereince would have made a difference.

You may recall that the clinton White House got quite frustrated when they discovered cargo airlifters couldn't fly off aircraft carriers. By the way, we've been "stuck" there for mroe than a dozen years now.
